Bad Habit Productions to Close after 10 Great Seasons

Thank you for being part of our story.

To our BHP community,

As the cast and creative teams of The Real Inspector Hound and Play On: Music That Moves Us begin rehearsals, BHP would like to share some news with you, our amazing audience and supporters. After 10 spectacular years, Bad Habit Productions has decided to take its final bow this spring.

This season, BHP celebrated its 10th anniversary with a highly successful musical, a family show about theater behind-the-scenes, a new work by local playwright Kirsten Greenidge, and will close its season with one of BHP's favorite playwrights, Tom Stoppard, and yet another new family friendly original show about the music that moves us.

This decision comes after thoughtful discussion by the board of directors, in collaboration with the staff. As you can imagine, this decision is bittersweet. We at BHP wanted to ensure that the entire BHP family can truly celebrate all that we have accomplished together. Keep an eye out for an invitation to our closing party on Friday, April 28—we hope you can join us!

We are so proud of the work we've produced in Boston, from original family shows, to thought-provoking socially-conscious pieces in unique settings—and all presented as accessibly as possible.

We thank you for being there for us in the audience and as a supporter behind the scenes. BHP looks forward to celebrating with you this spring.

With thanks,

Daniel Morris
Artistic Director

P.S. We fully intend to bring you the high-quality shows we've always presented for our last two productions. Consider making a gift to support our final bows.
